The Department of Anaesthesiology & Pain Medicine provides comprehensive clinical care to patients of all surgical specialties and imparts quality education for medical students and residents. The department offer services for approximately 80 surgical procedures per day in 35 operating rooms and 5 other offsite locations with various modalities like general anaesthesia, subarachnoid block, epidural anaesthesia, regional nerve blocks (USG and nerve locator guided), TIVA,TCI and Monitored Anaesthesia Care. Our mission is to deliver timely, compassionate and state of art clinical care, to guide the future development of our discipline, to train the next generation of leaders in Anaesthesiology, and to facilitate ground-breaking discoveries in clinical, translational, and basic research.
